Birmingham students are being targeted to try this new Rubicon drink.
A.G. Barr company which makes drinks such as ‘sun exotic’ and ‘barr’, has launched a new drink called ‘Rubicon RAW Energy’.
Just this week they have been advertising in universities.
At Birmingham City University campus, they set up exhibition stands and allowed students to participate in games where they could win free drinks or sample products.
Students that lined up were given merchandise such as t-shirts, pens, and mugs.
Kate Williamson, from A.G. Barr said: "we are selling new Rubicon drinks which are 20% fruit juice, natural caffeine from green coffee beans, B-Vitamins.
“Providing you with a different texture of your favorite drink with vitamins.”
They have relations with universities and deal with a lot of the sites directly which is why they started at BCU.
"We'll try to implement it across all of BCU's campuses to get feedback from the students", said Kate Williamson.
Alongside going to universities, A.G. Barr is promoting this all over social media.
Showing the type of flavours they’re offering, such as Orange & Mango, Raspberry & Blueberry, and Cherry & Pomegranate varieties.
A.G. Barr is also bringing out the Original 1901 IRN-BRU with the slogan ‘old and improved’.
With the original IRN-BRU but with a better taste.
The national IRN-BRU campaigns start on March 7th, where they will be campaigning these new drinks all that week.
